Our approach to accessibility

Sagacity Outreach Ministries wants people to be able to understand its information, contact the ministry and take part in suitable activities without avoidable digital or practical barriers.

This policy describes the current approach and the direction of continuing work. It does not claim that every page, document, external service or ministry activity meets a particular accessibility standard.

How the website is designed

The website uses semantic headings and landmarks, skip links, visible keyboard focus, labelled form controls, responsive layouts and text colours chosen for readable contrast.

Pages are intended to remain usable with keyboard navigation and when text or page content is enlarged. Information should not depend on colour alone, and meaningful images should have an appropriate text alternative.

Accounts, learning and live events

Protected account pages, learning resources and online meeting platforms may present different accessibility needs. Organisers give clear joining instructions and identify available alternatives where a feature cannot be used by everyone.

Access needs may be shared when registering for an event. Provide only the information needed to understand and consider an adjustment.

External services and documents

The site uses or links to external services that the ministry does not control, including Zoom, YouTube and Google Maps, as well as external documents and resources. Their accessibility can vary. The Speak, Lord venue address is also given as text alongside its map.

If an external resource creates a barrier, contact the ministry with the page or resource title and the format or adjustment that would help. A suitable alternative cannot always be guaranteed, but every request will be considered.

Report an accessibility barrier

Use Contact & Support, or email hello@sagacitynetwork.net with “Accessibility barrier” in the subject.

Include the page or activity, what you were trying to do, what happened and a safe way to reply. Do not include health information that is not needed to understand the barrier.

An accessibility complaint may also be raised through the Complaints and concerns policy.

Review and testing

Accessibility is reviewed when significant new pages, account journeys, documents or external services are introduced.

Review includes automated checks, keyboard-only use, zoom and reflow, colour contrast and testing with assistive technology. Feedback from people affected by barriers informs priorities.
