Website terms of use

These terms set out the conditions for using the Sagacity Outreach Ministries website, including the blog, event registration, the Member Hub and the Leadership Hub.

By using the public website you accept the terms that apply to public use. Signing in or taking part in a protected area also means following the rules for that account or ministry activity.

The Member Hub, ministry groups and blog comments are for people aged 18 or over. Anyone under 18 must not create or use a member account, accept a group invitation or post a comment.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Accounts are personal. Provide accurate information, protect your password and sign out on shared devices. Do not share your password, invitation links, sign-in links or meeting access details.

Signing in confirms who you are; it does not by itself grant membership, leadership responsibility or access to a particular group. Those decisions are made separately and may be paused or withdrawn when access is no longer appropriate. An account may also be deactivated, which stops it signing in.

Tell the ministry promptly through Contact & Support if you believe an account or private link has been misused.

A restriction or removal will be proportionate and explained where safety, confidentiality or the law permits. You may ask for a decision to be reviewed under the Complaints and concerns policy.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person, collect information about others without permission or use the site for unlawful or abusive activity.

Treat private group material, member information and online gathering details as confidential unless the person responsible has clearly authorised wider sharing.

Suspected misuse may result in content being hidden or removed, or access being restricted, while the concern is considered.

You are responsible for the posts, comments, images, captions and links you share in a group feed or on the blog. Share only material you have the right to share, and do not post another person’s image or private information without their permission.

By sharing a contribution you allow the ministry to display it to its intended audience: the members of that group for a group feed, or the public for an approved blog comment. Leaders and moderators may hide, remove or decline to approve contributions that do not meet the community standards.

Unless a page states otherwise, site content is provided for personal, church and ministry learning. It may not be sold, republished as another person’s work or reproduced at scale without written permission.

Bible teaching, pastoral information and learning resources do not replace professional medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. You remain responsible for decisions made in your own circumstances.

People taking part in a group or event must also follow the community standards, any group-specific guidance and the event participation terms.

A group’s member list is a private participation feature, not a contact list. Names shown there may be used only for taking part in the group and must not be copied, profiled or used for unsolicited contact.

The ministry asks people to respect confidentiality but cannot guarantee that another participant will never misuse information. Safeguarding, legal and serious-safety concerns may require proportionate disclosure.

The ministry may correct, update, suspend or withdraw content and features. It cannot promise that every page or protected service will always be available without interruption.

Some features rely on external services, including Zoom for online events, YouTube for videos shared in group feeds and Google Maps for venue maps and directions. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them or leave this site.

When these terms change materially, the version and date shown on this page will change. Continued use of a protected area may require you to review the updated version.

Nothing excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any mandatory consumer rights and any right to bring proceedings elsewhere that cannot lawfully be restricted remain unaffected.
