Event participation

This policy covers public and invitation-based events organised by Sagacity Outreach Ministries, including in-person, online and hybrid gatherings and group gatherings arranged through the Member Hub.

Each event’s own page may add practical details such as the date, time, venue, online access, audience or registration arrangements. Those details cannot override the law, privacy or safeguarding obligations, the separate permission needed for recording and promotion, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Provide accurate registration information and complete one registration for each person attending. Your place is confirmed when you use the confirmation link in the email sent to you. Registration may be limited by capacity, audience, safety or another stated event requirement.

A place is not transferable unless the organiser agrees. If you can no longer attend, tell the organiser through Contact & Support so that records and places can be managed accurately.

Ministry events are currently free. If a future event charges a fee, its booking page will state the price and any cancellation or refund terms before payment is taken.

You are welcome to share access or dietary needs when registering. Provide only the information needed to consider reasonable arrangements.

The organiser will respond honestly about what can be arranged and will not confirm an adjustment that has not been checked. Accessibility questions can be raised as described in the Accessibility policy.

Follow reasonable venue, online-platform and organiser instructions and treat other attendees, contributors and helpers with respect.

Harassment, threats, deliberate disruption, unsafe behaviour and misuse of private information may result in removal from an event or restriction from later activity.

Safeguarding concerns are handled under the Safeguarding policy, not as ordinary event feedback.

Where an event offers online attendance on Zoom, choosing that option registers you with Zoom using your name and email address, and your personal join link is included in your confirmation email. Online gatherings for a ministry group show their meeting details only to approved members in the Member Hub.

Do not post meeting links, IDs or passcodes publicly or share them with people who are not approved to attend. Use a suitable display name, mute when asked and avoid displaying or discussing another person’s private information. Organisers may remove an unidentified or disruptive connection to protect the gathering.

The event information will say whether official photography, audio, video, streaming or transcription is planned and how a participant can raise a concern.

Do not record or publish identifiable contributions from others without permission. Separate permission is sought where the intended use requires it; agreeing to attend is not treated as consent to promotional use.

Programmes, contributors, delivery arrangements and practical details may need to change. Material changes will be sent to the email address given at registration where reasonably possible.

The organiser may postpone, move or cancel an event for safety, availability or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Registration and attendance information is used for the event and its administration. Registering does not sign you up to ministry updates; you receive them only if you separately ask for them and confirm by email.
